I am working on a DMin where my concentration is on how the church, primarily through Fresh Expressions, can address the loneliness epidemic. All research points to the fact that tech is not the issue, it is actually part of the solution.
For sure, one great source is from the Surgeon General Murthy. His book "Together" looks at both sides of the argument concerning tech. He comes down on the side of it is the intent and how it is used that we must be aware of.

I’m amazed but not surprised that AI is more empathetic. How do you see churches changing this problem?
With AI? Not much we can do. With human beings... Churches need to host and promote better examples of empathy.
