When I left the Checkpoint Discord, XandoCalrissian sent a screenshot with a handwritten "SHAME!" written across the notification :) So here's the note I should have sent! I am so inspired by what you are doing and how Checkpoint is organizing. I also started to feel convicted that instead of just consuming another community's story, I should probably go and start spending time organizing similarly here in Detroit with our campus ministry students. So, thanks for your inspiration and how you are helping the broader church grow and build new relationships. Cheers!
That's hilarious! I assure you this wasn't a callout to anyone specifically - but especially not those who came to Checkpoint just to learn. I always tell folks at seminars they are welcome to poke around our Discord and then leave right away without hurting my feelings.
That being said, I do appreciate this comment as a model of an excellent way to say 'goodbye." Thank you for leading by example! I hope you'll drop in from time to time and share your learnings with us.

Absolutely agree - I believe that the digital world integrating deeply with the corporate world is exacerbating the problem wholesale. Hope these thoughts are helpful to some struggling!
